KOHAT, June 13: The row between Zarghoon Tribe and the local political administration over disrupting of power supply to Dara Adamkhel remained unsolved even after a meeting of both parties at the home department in Peshawar.

A week ago, some unidentified people had blown up an electricity supply line in Dara, which disrupted power supply in the area. The administration held the Zarghoon tribesmen responsible for the blast and fined them Rs1 million while nominating some of the tribesmen in the FIR.

But when the tribal elders were urged to pay fine and hand over the accused, they rebutted the charge and also refused pay fine.

Then the administration sealed the petrol pump of a Zarghoon man located in Peshawar, impounded one vehicle and stopped payment of salaries to low-grade employees belonging to the tribe.

The under-pressure tribesmen on Thursday held a meeting with the Home and Tribal Affairs Department officials, which remained inconclusive.
