KARACHI: Man found dead

KARACHI, June 12: An unidentified man was found dead in Surjani Town on Wednesday.

The police said that the body of a man, who was in his mid-30s, was found near the terminus of Niaz Coach in Surjani Town. The body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem. Sources at the hospital said that the post-mortem report had been reserved till the receipt of the histopathological report.

The body had been kept in the Edhi’s morgue for identification, the police said.

IDENTIFIED: An unidentified elderly woman who was found dead along Khayaban-i-Sa’di in Defence on Tuesday was identified by the woman’s son Mohammed Siddique in the Edhi’s morgue on Wednesday. The dead woman was identified as Amna Bibi, aged 65, wife of Mohammed Ibrahim, a cloth trader. She lived in Kharadar, the police said.

After post-mortem on Tuesday night at the JPMC, the body was shifted to the Edhi’s morgue.
