GILGIT, June 10: The government has decided to carry out blackout exercise here on June 13 from 9.30pm to 10.00pm.
A spokesman said that similar exercises shall be conducted on June 15 and June 17 at the same time.
He said the exercises were being carried out to prepare the citizens for meeting any emergency or war situation.
He requested the citizens to switch off lights in the buildings and headlights of their vehicles during the exercises.
