KARACHI, June 10: The Board of Secondary Education on Monday announced the results of SSC Part-I and II annual examinations-2002 of deaf candidates.

The pass percentage in the Part-II examination remained 98.27. Out of 57 candidates declared to have passed 55 were placed in first division.

Nazia Qaisar, roll no 160, and Najma Naseem, roll no 139, of DEWA Academy for the Deaf bagged the first and second positions respectively. Syed Muhammad Bilal, roll no 113, of ABSA School for the Deaf, got third position in the merit list.

According to BSE statistics, result in the Part-I examination remained 100 per cent, since all the candidates (73) were declared to have passed in all the five papers of the examinations.
