KARACHI: Ghinwa’s warning

Published June 10, 2002

KARACHI, June 9: Chairperson PPP (SB), Ghinwa Bhutto, has stated that if the problems of poor people, who are victims of an exploitative and obsolete system, were not resolved, the present gulf between the state and the people would be widened further and the consequences could prove grave.

Speaking to the provincial committee of the party at 70-Clifton on Sunday, she asked the party to realise their responsibility to check the unrest which might lead to anarchy, and divert it in the direction of a healthy revolution in the country.
