DADU, June 8: One passenger, Ali Buksh Mallah, 45, died on the spot while Nabi Buksh was injured when a Datsun pick-up overturned and fell into a ditch on Mehar-Fareedabad link road on Saturday.
The Fareedabad police registered an FIR against Datsun driver Khair Mohammad.
BOOKED: A special team of the irrigation department, on Saturday paid a surprise visit to Lower Noor Wah Waterway and found RD-1, RD-2 and RD-3 waterways tempered with and sealed the watercourses.
Later, the Mounder police on the complaint of Mr Shahani registered an FIR against landlords Yaqoob Chandio, Imdad, Gulshan Chandio and Mazhar.
