Three gunmen stormed into the medical store of Shahzad in Shadbagh and looted Rs9,000 in cash. Later, they entered the adjacent shop of Mushtaq and made off with cash and valuables worth Rs30,000.

The same gang also deprived one Rashid Ali of Rs7,000 in cash.

In Kahna, two robbers deprived Amin of Rs6,000 in cash and a motorcycle.

Later, people from neighbouring villages blocked the Ferozpur Road for some two hours. They claimed that the area had become a hunting place for robbers, but police had not taken any preventive measure despite complaints.
