MANSEHRA, June 6: The NWFP government on strong protest by the All Teachers Association (ATA) has declared null and void the test and  interview conducted for appointment of serving teachers on the CT posts.

Through a notification, the NWFP education director has directed the education authorities here to advertise the vacant CT posts and to afford an opportunity to both the serving teachers and fresh candidates for appearing in the entry test and interview in July.

A delegation of teachers led by Oghi Tehsil ATA President Qazi Mohammad Ashraf on Thursday met Mansehra Education Executive District Officer Mohammad Pervez Khan and expressed his satisfaction over the notification.

The EDO assured the teachers delegation of transparency and merit in appointment of teachers.
