KARACHI, March 28: Twelve vehicles — five cars and seven motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Thursday, police said.

One car was hijacked in North Nazimabad. Four others were stolen in other areas.

One motorcycle was hijacked. Six others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Thursday to have recovered three vehicles (Z-2495, LOJ-8050 and KCG-3118).

ROBBERIES: Owaisur Rahman lodged an FIR at the area police station that unidentified men robbed him of cash in the limits of F. B- Industrial Area police.

Zia Mehmood Qureshi lodged an FIR at Baloch Colony police station that three men snatched cash from him in Baloch Colony.

Naeem Khan lodged an FIR at Mominabad police station that four unidentified men barged into his home, held the family as hostage at gunpoint and got away with cash, jewellery and other valuables.
