ISLAMABAD, March 26: Two judicial magistrates of Islamabad Mumtaz Hussain and Abdul Qayyum for the second time rejected the bail petition moved before the two courts separately by a former provincial minister of NWFP, involved in the cases of car lifting, possessing of illegal arms and impersonation here on Tuesday.
Naqibullah Khan involved in five cases of car lifting, impersonating as DSP of an intelligence agency, involved in encounter with the police and possessing illegal arms, was caught some three months ago while fleeing to NWFP in a stolen vehicle, which he had snatched at gunpoint.
The former provincial minister had allegedly been involved in several cases of snatching and lifting vehicles from Islamabad and other cities of Punjab and selling them after tempering with the registration and chassis numbers.
The prosecution had claimed that it had recovered some four stolen vehicles from his possession during 14 days of physical remand with the Golra police.
