The Election Commission of Balochistan established 16 polling stations for four seats of the Quetta district.
According to the election results of four union councils, Ayub Kurd, Dad Mohammad Breach, Arif Lahri and Talib Hussian were elected Nazims. Haji Mohammad Yasin had already been elected unopposed.
A member of the Election Commission of Pakistan, Justice Tariq Mehmood, and the provincial election commissioner, Chaudhry Qamar Zaman, visited many polling stations in Quetta.
Nasibullah Baloch, candidate for the seat of Nazim from constituency No. 15, boycotted the election, accusing rival candidates of casting bogus votes at the women’s polling stations.
