KARACHI, March 5: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has constituted a four-member enquiry committee to investigate establishment of Computer Science Labs in colleges.

The committee, comprising Executive District Officer (EDO) Finance; EDO Education; Naib Nazim Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Saleem Azhar, and Nazim Union Council North Nazimabad Town Mohammad Iqbal, will submit its report within 15 days to the City Nazim.

It may be recalled that various students and teachers’ organizations, including Sindh Professors and Lecturers’ Association (SPLA), had expressed doubts in purchase of computers and had alleged embezzlement of funds in establishment of computer science labs in the colleges.—PPI
