Old enmity claims life

LAHORE, Feb 22: A shoe-shining man was shot dead over an old enmity in Sabzazar on Friday.

Khan Pur Khan, 37, had come from Peshawar to attend a funeral in Sadpur. He was busy with his relatives when one Yousaf along with three accomplices opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.

SUICIDE: A mother of five committed suicide in Shahdara on Friday.

The family of Naseem Bibi, 35, was facing financial problems. She took poison on Thursday night. She was taken to the Mayo Hospital where she died.

ACCIDENT: A labourer was killed in an accident in Manga Mandi on Friday.

Shahbaz, 27, was riding on the roof of a bus when he slipped and fell down. He sustained serious injuries and died on the way to hospital.

FOUND DEAD: The body of a seven-year-old boy, unidentified so far, was found on Bund Road, Shadbagh, on Friday. —Staff Reporter
