CHITRAL, Feb 13: The snow-leopard of the Tushi game sanctuary, situated at a distance of 5km on the Garam Chashma Road, has attracted hundreds of people from the city and the surrounding villages for the second day.
The leopard has come to the bank of Lotkoh river, forced by the chilly winds at higher altitudes.
It is believed that the leopard has killed a number of ibex in the sanctuary, and now people of the nearby villages are afraid of its onslaught on human population. Consequently, no one dares to come out after dusk.
The Wildlife officials are of the view that the leopard would return to higher places of the forest within four days.—Correspondent
