MONTREAL, Jan 13: Canadian Foreign Minister John Manley is scheduled to visit Pakistan and India from Jan 18 to 27, a ministry spokeswoman said on Friday.
“Canada has a good relationship with both India and Pakistan and if we can be helpful, we are prepared to do so,” said spokeswoman Marie-Christine Lilkoff quoting him.
“We have in the past offered our good office but you can’t mediate, you can’t facilitate unless both sides are willing to take that offer and draw upon it,” she said.—APP
