LAHORE, Dec 21: The Punjab Accountant-General’s office has simplified the procedure for the payment of GP fund, pension and salaries to employees.

“We have passed on instructions to district accounts offices across the Punjab to resolve the problems being faced by the employees,” said Additional Accountant-General Hafiz Muhammad Islam while addressing an open kutchery here on Friday.

Internal Check Officer Akbar Ali, Internal Audit Officer Muhammad Amin and other officials were also present on the occasion.

The Punjab AAG also ordered the resolution of the problems of Pir Bukhsh, EST teacher from the Government High School, Shujabad and Veterinary Assistant of the Livestock Department Farman Rasul Shah.—APP
