KARACHI: Two persons killed

KARACHI, March 2: An elderly man was shot dead by his neighbours in Baldia late on Saturday night.

Police said Chand Husain, 60, was shot dead by Siddiqi Bucha, Yousaf Ghanchi, Rafiq Kokni and Shakil Sapna at Kausar Chowk in Dilawar Muhallah.

The victim died instantly. His body was taken to Civil Hospital for postmortem examination, police said.

Both the victim and the assailants were harbouring some old family dispute, police said.

KILLED: A young girl was killed by unknown persons in Liaquatabad late on Saturday night.

Saira’s body was found with her throat slit in her home in C-Area, Liaquatabad.

Police said some cash and jewellry was also missing from the house.
