LAHORE: Youth commits suicide

LAHORE, Feb 5: A youth allegedly committed suicide on a domestic issue in Nawankot on Saturday. Shahbaz, 30, a factory employee, was married about a month ago. His wife reportedly wanted him to separate from parents.

On Saturday, following a quarrel with his wife over the issue Shahbaz locked himself in his room and strangled himself. The body was handed over to the family without autopsy.

SHOT DEAD: Pakistan Rangers shot dead an unidentified man, around 30, who attempted to cross the border on Saturday.

Police said the Rangers had warned him before shooting. The body was sent to the city mortuary for autopsy.
