KARACHI, May 1: A youth died after being hit by an unknown vehicle on Kemari road on Saturday. Police said that Manzoor Imran, 22, was crossing the road when he was hit and died on the spot , as he received severe head injuries.

The Jackson police registered a case but failed to locate and identify the vehicle responsible for the death of the young man.

BURNT TO DEATH: A young married woman was burnt to death at her home in Orangi Town on Saturday.

Police said that Saima, 22, wife of Irfan, was brought to the Civil Hospital with 90 per cent burns. She died at the hospital. The Pakistan Bazaar police were investigating the case to ascertainthat whether Saima suffered burns accidentally or she was killed.
