Ammunition, drugs seized

QUETTA, June 1: The Chaghai Militia and Pishin Scouts Wing of the Frontier Corps seized 30kgs of drugs and a huge quantity of ammunition in two different raids conducted in Dognan and Killi Faizu areas near the border with Afghanistan.

The Chagai militia conducted a raid in Dognan area and the Pishin Scouts in Killi Faizu.

They seized 30kgs of morphine, 10 anti-tank shells, eight rounds of RPG-7, 400 rounds of 14.5mm gun, and 4,100 rounds of 12.7mm gun.

The drugs and ammunition were smuggled from Afghanistan and dumped in the areas for onward supplies to the interior of Pakistan, FC sources said.

No arrest was reported.
