PESHAWAR, June 1: NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah inspected the newly-constructed B-Block of the Civil Secretariat, here on Saturday.

Provincial Administration Secretary Ghulam Hussain briefed the governor about the progress of work.

The governor, who was accompanied by Local Government Minister Athar Minallah, was informed that the entire building had been fully furnished, and except for the basement all the three upper storeys were occupied by both the wings of Education Department as well as the Law Department.

The governor went round each and every section of the secretariat and appreciated the quality and standard of the work.

He took keen interest in the utilization of the open area available around the block, and said besides providing car parking it should be utilized in a positive manner.—APP
