KARACHI, June 1: Forty-one candidates appeared for interview before the selection board for appointment of non-teaching officers of grades 17 and 18 at Karachi University on Saturday.

Those who appeared for the interview included ten candidates for the post of librarians, nine for assistant librarians, eight for deputy controller examinations, three for senior taxonomist, two for taxonomists and ten for purchase officer.

The selection board consisted of VC Dr Zafar Saeed Saify, former VC Dr Jamil Jalibi, Rear Admiral Hasan Mahmood Ansari, Dr Farida Siddiqui and registrar, Dr Aqil Burney.—APP
