KARACHI, May 31: The City Council goes into session from Saturday to discuss the report of the house committee formed to look into water crisis in the city.

The current session will continue for four working days and the other agenda of Saturday’s meeting is to discuss the leasing of the fisheries department of the City Government to the Sindh Government for 30 years.

On Monday, the session will discuss installation of CNG kits and cylinders in City Government vehicles, repair of 24 water pipeline joints from Mauripur to Grax village, extension of contract for repair of roads, road markings, drainage system on roads and traffic signs. The last draft will be the rescheduling of budget for the media management department.

The agenda for June 4 includes discussion and queries on quarterly report of Secondary Schools Committee (boys) of the City Council. The last day is reserved for questions and answers by house members.

All session will be held from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.—PPI
