SHIKARPUR, March 19: Two persons were killed in two separate incidents in the district on Saturday. Wakeel Banglani, 24, resident of the Sardar Bhoora Khan village, was working in his field when five armed men, identified as Nazim Machhi and his sons, Mureed, Imdad, Ramza and Shahmir, shot him dead.
Motive behind the murder was said to be karo-kari. The Sultankot police have registered a case. Mohammad Khan Marfani, 35, was killed by five Kalashnikov-wielding men while sitting in his Autaq in the Pathan Wah village. The motive was said to be an old enmity. The Humayun police have registered a case.
