Aptma criticizes SSGC billing

Published May 30, 2002

KARACHI, May 29: All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma), one of the largest consumers of gas, is critical of SSGC ‘indifference’ towards their customers.

The meeting of Aptma (Sindh-Balochistan zone) has noted with regret the non-transparent billing to industrial consumers.

SSGC management has been evasive to Aptma request seeking discussion on irritants.

The millers claim that increase in bills by 9-10 per cent on the pretext of calorific value

is not open to counter verification.

The gas consumption on average of last three years rates will reduce the competitive edge of exporters.
