Operation in Sui denied

ISLAMABAD, Jan 20: A spokesman of interior ministry on Thursday clarified that no operation was being carried out in Sui area. "Neither any operation is carried out in Sui area nor it is in the offing," the spokesman said.

He said some troops carrying logistics were moved into Sui on Thursday afternoon to replenish and reinforce security at Sui installations. It is in pursuance of the decision taken by the cabinet to ensure safety and security of vital installations, the spokesman added.

He further said that no house to house search was being carried out in the area and no house was demolished. -APP
