KARACHI, May 27: Giants will represent Pakistan in the Manchester Commonwealth Games after they won the Federation Cup at Aslam Memorial Hall Sunday evening.

In the final, Giants comprising legendary Masood Saleem, Shaheen Iqbal, Masood Mazhar, Maj (Retd) Akhtar Zaidi, Tahir Masood and Yousuf Talpur, beat Candyland (Zia) by 34 Imps.

Pakistan Bridge Federation conducted the three-day trials to pick the national squad for the Games to be held from July 15 to 20.

In the semifinals, Giants beat Lahore’s Direstraits by 41 Imps while Candyland (Z) overpowered Lipton by nine Imps.—APP
