SRINAGAR, May 25: Ten people, including two Indian soldiers, were injured in a grenade explosion in occupied Kashmir on Saturday, police said.
The explosion took place at Shopian, 50 kilometres south of Srinagar.
“The grenade was hurled at a security force vehicle,” the police spokesman said, adding it exploded against the vehicle sending splinters in all directions.
“The condition of four of the eight civilians injured is serious,” he said.
On Thursday, 15 people were injured in a similar grenade explosion in Sopore town.—AFP
