LAHORE, Oct 10: A fairly widespread rainfall of light to moderate intensity on Sunday caused further reduction in temperature and brought a pleasant change in weather in most parts of the country.

The provincial metropolis also received scattered showers resulting in a significant fall in temperature. Partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm has been forecast for Monday.

Scattered thunderstorm/rain has also been forecast for Monday in Gujranwala, Sargodha and Faisalabad divisions, local dust storm / rain for Rawalpindi division and thunderstorm and rain at a few places in Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan divisions.

The Meteorological department recorded rainfall in Dir, Chitral, Risalpur, Malamjabba, Saidu Sharif, Kalam, Nowshera, Islamabad, Oghi, Muzaffarabad, Daggar, Planadri, Balakot, Kamra, Rawlakot, Kakul, Besham, Pattan, Phulra, Shinkiari, Tarbela, Domel, Sehrkakota, Chattarkalas, Daulatnagar, Sohawa, Attock, Mangla, Kund, Kotli, Murid, Marala, Shakargarh, Peshawar, Sialkot, Jhelum, Palku and Ura during the last 24 hours.
