KARACHI, Oct 5: Secretary General Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (ICCI), Aqeel A. Al Jaseem has said that the ICCI in collaboration with a Pakistan Industrial Group and Pakistani government is organising an International Islamic Economic and Cultural Conference (IIECC) in early 2005.

The conference will provide an ideal platform of interaction and exchange of ideas to promote and foster closer business and economic ties between the member countries of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), he said while talking to the president Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Khalid Firoz on Tuesday.

He invited Pakistani businessmen to participate in the exhibitions and trade fairs being organised in the UAE and other Islamic countries of the region.
