KARACHI, Sept 30: The centralized admission committee for colleges on Thursday released the placement lists of 7,590 girl students for admission to first year commerce.

According to the committee's statistics, the students selected for admission to commerce classes at 32 colleges and one higher secondary school, included 281 A-1 graders, 1,481 A graders, 2,549 B graders, 2,744 C graders and 535 D graders. The leftover 680 girl applicants of commerce group would now be accommodated in the Arts classes, said a press release of the committee.

A tough competition was witnessed among the applicants for admission at the PECHS college. The PECHS college admission list closed at 675 marks, followed by Commerce College (624), Sir Syed College (613). The names of educational institutions with opening and closing marks are as follows:
