Indians due on Sept 23

KARACHI, Sept 15: Indian hockey team will be arriving here on Sept 23 to play the first leg of their eight match series against Pakistan. India play the first Test at Hockey Club of Pakistan on Sept 24.

"We have received the date of their arrival but waiting for their travel plan," PHF secretary Musarratullah Khan said on Wednesday.

Karachi City Nazim will be holding a dinner reception in honour of visiting and Pakistan teams on Sept 25. Indian team will depart for Quetta on Sept 26 by PIA flight and play second Test there on Sep 27.

From Quetta the Indian and Pakistan teams will be taken to Peshawar in a special flight and play the third Test on Sept 29. The visitors will play the fourth and final Test at Lahore's National Hockey Stadium on Oct 1. -APP
