American investors call on premier

ISLAMABAD, Sept 10: The government has created ideal environment for foreign investors which would help in eliminating unemployment from the country.

According to a press release issued here on Friday this was stated by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz while talking to a group of investors from the United States who called on him at Prime Minister House.

The prime minister said there was great potential for investment in different sectors of the economy and the government was providing best of opportunities and concessions to foreign investors.

The housing and construction sector was growing fast offering great scope of investment and the tourism industry had great potential for investment with substantial and safe returns.

The delegation informed the premier that the super-shredder plant entails capital investment of about $100m and would create over 1,000 jobs besides generating economic activity in steel sector.
