PESHAWAR, Aug 20: Three men were killed in different incidents and one person was kidnapped over a monetary dispute, police officials said on Friday.

Shakeela, a resident of University Town, told police that on Thursday night her husband, Azam, was shot dead by some men at the gate of his house. She said that they had shifted from Gujranwala and her husband was a honey merchant.

In another incident, Hifazat, son of Abdur Rahim, of Pajjagi village, told Daudzai police that his brother Wakeel Khan had some dispute with his father over the distribution of property. On Friday, Wakeel Khan exchanged hot words with his father and stabbed him to death before escaping.

The body of a watchman was found from an under-construction house in Hayatabad Phase-II on Friday. A police official said they were informed by a neighbour of Hamza, whose house was under-construction, about the body of watchman, Gul Mohammad, a resident of Lakarai in Mohmand Agency.

The official said that he suffered an electric shock when he was trying to switch on a water pump. Meanwhile, one Liaqat, a resident of Azakhel, told Badhber police that he had a monetary dispute with Zahir Shah. On Friday, Zahir Shah came along with Ibadullah and kidnapped his son Asghar, Liaqat alleged.

One Mohammad Shakir told Shah Qabool police that he was a medicine supplier and was running his business at Rehman Medicine Market. On Thursday his sales manager, Babu Gul, son of Omar Gul, went to the city markets for distributing medicines and collecting money. He collected Rs1.7 million from the market but never returned.
