ADB team visits EOBI

KARACHI, Aug 20: A team of Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) on Friday, and assured bank's support to on-going reforms introduced under institutional strategy.

During their visit to EOBI's Investment Department at Awami Markaz the team was given a comprehensive presentation by Farooq A. Awan, CFA, and Investment adviser of the institution. The team was impressed with the initiatives taken to enhance investment activities of the EOBI.

The ADB team urged sustained compliance with the reforms. Later, the delegation visited the chairman EOBI M Shafi Malik who briefed them about the reforms introduced for "strategic management" under institutional strategy.

The ADB team comprised V V Subramanlan, Ms Saitien Thongplengrsi, Manial based financial sector specialists and Mir Muhammad Ali, investment officer.
