ISLAMABAD, Aug 12: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has decided to construct a hostel at a cost of Rs15 million for the visiting faculty at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro.

In this connection, Rs15 million has already been allocated to the university, said an official statement on Thursday. The commission, recently has started a faculty exchange programme for the faculty members of the public sector universities of the country.

This programme is intended to facilitate the movement of university teachers at the levels of professors, associate professors from one university to the best centres with highest international standards at other universities for a short duration i.e. from one to three months and six to nine months or more.
