TOBA TEK SINGH, Aug 11: Two people reportedly committed suicide in separate incidents on Wednesday. Farmer Zafar Ali took poison in Kammaywala Khooh village near Kamalia over his financial problems.

He died before getting any medical aid. Usman took poison when his parents admonished him on failure in intermediate examinations in Chak 332 GB Jakhra.

BODY FOUND: The decapitated body of a boy was recovered from minor canal near Sindhilianwali. According to autopsy report, the boy was killed at least a week ago.

FUGITIVE HELD: An alleged killer who escaped from police custody in Tandlianwala two years ago has been arrested. DPO Saad Akhtar Bharwana said at a press conference on Wednesday Shaukat Baloch of Chak 601 GB was brought from Faisalabad jail to Tandlianwala for the hearing of a case on June 24, 2002, from where he and his two accomplices escaped.

He said the accused formed a gang again and killed his rival Wali Kharal last year. The DPO said the accused had taken refuge in Pirmahal area and was waiting for a bus on Wednesday in Chak 717 GB when a Pirmahal police party identified and arrested him. He was involved in more than 30 cases of murder, dacoity and robbery.
