KARACHI, Aug 10: Former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali called on veteran Muslim League leader Pir Pagara here at Kingri House on Tuesday.

In the meeting, which lasted over one and a half hours, they exchanged views on political situation prevailing in the country with specific reference to Balochistan.

Mr Jamali, who met Pir Pagara after his recent meeting with President Gen Pervez Musharraf at his camp office in Rawalpindi, reportedly sought his cooperation in the proposed dialogue with Baloch leaders.

Later, talking to a group of journalists, Pir Pagara said that besides friendly ties with Mr Jamali he also had relations with his uncle, late Mir Jafar Khan Jamali, and other elders.

Circles close to the Kingri House termed the meeting an effort to use the good offices of former prime minister Jamali to muster support of Pir Pagara for the dialogue with Baloch nationalist leaders.
