KARACHI, Aug 6: Speakers at a demonstration held here on Friday condemned the ongoing military operation in Balochistan and demanded an immediate halt to it and withdrawal of cases registered against certain Baloch leaders in this regard.

The demonstration was organized by the Labour Party Pakistan (LPP) at the Karachi Press Club. The LPP chief, Nisar Shah, Ghani Zaman and Shaikh Saeed were among those who addressed the participants.

They deplored that the country's ruling clique, acting upon the dictates of foreign imperialists, was suppressing the voice of Balochistan people so that they could not raise a hue and cry against the outsiders' activities aimed at plundering the province's wealth.
