KARACHI, May 22: Two-day trials to pick 25 players from Sindh and Balochistan for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Regional Academy in Karachi, will be held at Academy Ground, National Stadium from tomorrow (Thursday) at 9.00 A.M.

Selection panel including former Test players Rashid Khan, Sultan Rana and Farrukh Khan will watch the trials and select the players.

Three-month academy session start from June 1 and these players will under strenuous training session..

PCB have already named 82 players from Sindh/Balochistan Zone to appear in the trials.

All the other interested players from Sindh and Balochistan province are advised to report to Rashid Khan at NSK PCB Regional Academy Ground.

Last year, PCB paid Rs. 5000 as remuneration to each player during three month academy session alongwith boarding and lodging.

PCB Chief General Tauqir Zia launched the PCB Academy programme to train and groom players for future under its Vision 2005 Programme.—APP
