ISLAMABAD, July 12: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Monday decided to set up International Human Resource Centre at University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, costing Rs15 million.

In this regard, the HEC's Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) meeting, which was held the other day approved the project, says an official statement.

The human resource centre would not only improve academic environment substantially but also provide a place for teaching- cum-residence at the main campus Muzaffarabad and sub-campus Mirpur by exchanging ideas and sharing experience of ex-patriots visiting or guest faculty to enhance the teaching and research environment.

The major objective of the centre include provision of accommodation to 15-20 ex-patriat, visiting/guest faculty from abroad and inland as well.
