KARACHI, May 21: Young Tuglaq and Sameen Club Multan stormed into the quarterfinals of All Pakistan Inter-club cricket tournament after winning their matches at Baloch Mujahid Stadium Ibrahim Haidery Tuesday.

Young Tuglaq outplayed 3-1 after enjoying 1-0 lead at the interval.

Muhammad Ayaz, Farooq Shah and Nazir Ahmed scored one goal each for the winner. Ahmed Sultan scored the consolation goal on penalty kick at the fag end of the match.

Sameen Club Multan staged a grand rally in the second half to defeat Victory Sports 4-0. Both teams failed to score in the first session.

Umair Shah, Pervez Ahmed, Abdul Sattar and Kaleemullah scored the goals in a space of 15 minutes.—APP
