LAHORE, May 21: The British Council has announced a temporary suspension of its services across Pakistan with immediate effect pending the completion of the ongoing security upgrade of its offices.

Alternative public access points have been set up at Manor Court, Sunfort Hotel, Main Market, Gulberg, Lahore; Regent Plaza, Shahrah-i-Faisal, Karachi; and Margalla Motel,Islamabad. General enquiries about examinations, attestation of documents etc. can be made by visiting the same or the website www,britishcouncil.org.pk under ‘Education’.

The GCE O,A-level examinations and IELTS will take tests as scheduled enquiries on studying in the UK can be made at the alternative access points, the council website or commercial student advisory organizations. The library members have been advised to retain the borrowed book till the reopening of the library. No late fee or fine will be charged on the return of the same.
