Five booked for rape

SHEIKHUPURA, May 20: Police registered a case on Monday against five men for raping a housewife after kidnapping her.

The wife of a labourer was kidnapped by Fateh Muhammad, Munir Ahmad and three other men from her house some five days ago. They took the woman to Manga Mandi and raped her.

Later, they sold her to one Khan Muhammad for Rs40,000 who also raped her. She was then taken to Lahore and sold for Rs30,000 to one Shaukat.

The women got an opportunity to release herself from the illegal confinement of Shaukat and reached Mandi Faizad police station.

The Faizabad police registered the case against the accused who were at large.
