LANDI KOTAL, April 12: Five people were killed and three others were injured in separate incidents here over the past two days. A young boy, Qari Abdul Raziq, was gunned gown and his father Jahanzeb and cousin Nusrat were injured when they were allegedly attacked by Shah Mohammad , a member of their rival family.

The two families have a dispute over property. The injured, Nusrat, was admitted to a hospital in Peshawar in critical condition. In the Landi Kotal tehsil jurisdiction, the Khasadar force found the body of an unidentified man in a dry stream.

The victim was gunned down as the body bore bullet marks. In a road accident, one Mohammad Farooq was killed and his friend Maqbali Khan was seriously injured when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle in the Bara subdivision.

On Monday, a man, Deni Shah, was killed by his young son Waris Khan when he asked the boy not to play his cassette player loudly. In yet another incident, a barber, Rifaqat, was killed by some unidentified assailants in the Shalobar area. Rifaqat hailed from Peshawar.
