Indian notables to watch matches

ISLAMABAD, March 8: A number of Indian dignitaries who are likely to cross borders to watch cricket includes among others Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka and her husband Robert Vadra, a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman said.

Priyanka and Raul have applied for visas to witness the first one-day match in Karachi on March 13. Raul and Priyanka are the son and daughter of late Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Also likely to make the trip is Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla and several showbiz personalities. BCCI head Jagmohan Dalmiya and his family is also on the PCB's guest list as is the chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Ehsan Mani.
