Salman slams century in big win

LAHORE, March 7: A fine century by Salman Butt andequally impressive batting by Saleem Elahi and Adil Nisarpropelled Lahore to a crushing 162-run win over Quetta in the Quaid-i-Azam One-day Cup at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Sunday.

Salman hit 12 fours in his 148-ball knock to help Lahore pile up 345 for eight in the allotted 50 overs. Test discard Saleem struck 86 off 89 balls with 12 fours. Adil blasted 73 off only 48 deliveries with five sixes and as many fours. Quetta, in reply, made 183 for eight.
