ISLAMABAD, Feb 25: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would install 'invisible' video cameras at different public places in the city. The decision was taken following the implementation of a new security plan to monitor the movement of vehicles and to tighten security in the Capital city.
The cameras will be installed at sensitive locations, including weekly bazaars, prominent buildings and main roadsides to provide security to the people particularly at main entry and exit points.
"The preliminary report of the project has been sent to the cabinet for approval, after which CDA will start implementation of the project at a cost of Rs3.3 million," official sources said. -PPI
