DHAKA, Feb 22: Speaker Jamiruddin Siracar on Sunday issued a ruling against a planed demonstration by MPs belonging to Awami League inside the parliament lobby.

The ruling came after a treasury member drew the speaker's attention to a reported plan of the opposition legislators to demonstrate inside the parliament lobby and demanded a ruling against it.

Reacting to the ruling, AL leader and deputy leader of the opposition in parliament, Advocate Abdul Hamid, told the New Age that the opposition would go ahead with its programme. We will hold the planned demonstration at any cost," Advocate Hamid said.
