CHITRAL, Feb 20: The DHQ hospital extended coverage to 112,124 outpatients, while 1724 major operations were carried out during the year 2003.

The data gathered from the office of the medical superintendent of the hospital said that the number of laboratory tests during the year remained 27,057 and that of X-ray, ultrasound and ECG tests was 12,156, 3,234 and 1,831, respectively. During the same period, the hospital collected revenue of Rs1.378 million from the patients.

The income accrued from OPD was Rs338956, while Rs333490 were charged as X-ray fee.
